Enjoy a summer Spanish learning vacation in the small coastal town of Tarragona, the provincial capital and only an hour South from Barcelona by bus or train.

The town is a safe but lively place and is a good alternative to Barcelona. The World Heritage Center of Tarragona is one of the most important Roman cities in the Mediterranean offering various Roman temples, monuments, Forum, Amphitheater and Aqueduct.

The old city is built on the southern side of a rocky hill, which slopes gently down to the sea and the beaches are within walking distance (more)

FAST FACTS

Your language vacation itinerary		You will book your own flights and arrive independently into Tarragona (via Barcelona airport). You will be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation, travel time from airport will be about an hour. Your accommodation is included on the Sunday, our language courses start on Monday and finish Friday, departure day Saturday. You will be studying and living with like-minded students of a similar age from around the world, under the supervision of our staff, with rules & curfews.
School location & map		Located in a large building on the Rambla Nova, a main street in the town center offering 8 spacious classrooms.
Course options & details		:: 3 GROUP LESSONS DAILY - 15 lessons per week Lessons are taught in Castillian Spanish NOT Catalan We accept all levels Students divided by age groups A lessons usually lasts 50 minutes Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 9am Course materials are included You will take a placement test on the first Monday Maximum 12 students per group class

Supervision, curfews & student info		If staying in the RESIDENCE: Supervision level is HIGH - This is a fully supervised program 24/7 Teens under 16 are not allowed to leave campus unaccompanied. Teens aged 16 + are allowed off campus unescorted with rules, curfews and MUST have written permission from their parents or legal guardians. Curfew: Sunday to Thursday: 11:30pm - Friday to Saturday: 1:00am. Students MUST remain in groups at all times. All students are given a list of cell phone numbers If staying with a LOCAL HOST FAMILY: Supervision level: MEDIUM Teens are independent after class and responsible for getting to/from school each day including after activities. Supervised during the day and on activities Estimated students on the immersion: 80 students Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 12 - 15 students
After class activities		Enjoy a schedule of social & cultural activities during the week with other students and weekend excursions.
