ANTIBES SUMMER TEEN PROGRAM FAST FACTS

Your language vacation itinerary		Teens arrive independently into Antibes not in a group (via Nice airport). They will be met at the airport and taken to their accommodation which is included on the Sunday, language courses start on Monday and finish Friday, departure day is Saturday. Teens will be studying and living with like - minded teens of a similar age from around the world, under the supervision of our staff, with rules & curfews. Teens attending this program come from all over the world, typical nationality mix: European 70%, North American 10%, Other 20%
Campus Information		Our summer Teenager program takes place on 2 summer campus locations: :: HORTICOLE CAMPUS - Situated in the east of Antibes, our campus (20,000 m²) is located in a residential area of Antibes and surrounded by beautiful gardens with on campus classrooms & residence with a large swimming pool, cafeteria, social rooms and sports grounds. Holds approx 200 students. >> more about this campus including map :: LEONARDO DA VINCI CAMPUS - Situated to the north of Antibes, our modern campus (37,000 m²) is located next to a large pine forest it offers on campus classrooms & residence with a swimming pool, cafeteria, outdoor terraces, TV room and sports grounds. Holds approx 300 students and was built in 2007. >> more about this campus including map :: Free Summer Shuttle Bus (July-August) to the town & beaches. This shuttle service operates every afternoon between 1:15 and 7:30pm. The evening service operates on Tuesday or Wednesday from 8:30 to 11:00pm / Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30pm to 1:00am. This shuttle service is free and reserved for students of the program.
Course options & details		:: 4 GROUP LESSONS DAILY - 20 lessons per week 8:45 - 12:00am Monday to Friday We accept all levels of French A lesson usually lasts 45 minutes Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 8.45am Course materials are included You will take a placement test on the first Monday Maximum 15 students per group class
Lodging options		:: ON CAMPUS for ages (14-17) We CANNOT guarantee which residence you will be housed in however you may request a campus and usually we can satisfy your request. :: Both campus locations offer very similar facilities 2 - 4 students share a room Private rooms available (additional cost) Showers & toilets are on every floor Includes 3 meals daily on campus Packed lunch during the excursion days 50€ deposit must be paid on the student’s arrival Sheets provided (not towels) & changed every week Rooms cleaned twice weekly Free shuttle service
Supervision & curfews		Supervision level: MEDIUM All students aged 14+ are allowed to leave the campus after lunch from 1.30pm to 7.30pm each day. NO EVENING PERMISSION FOR 14-15 YEAR OLDS. This is a fully supervised program 24/7, however parents have TWO options regarding allowing permission to leave campus in the evenings after 8.30pm: NO EVENING PERMISSION unless accompanied by group leaders. Teens will NOT be allowed off campus unless written permission is given by parents or legal guardians. AGREE TO EVENING PERMISSION Teens WILL be allowed to leave campus unaccompanied until 11pm one evening during the week (Tuesday or Wednesday) & at weekends (Friday & Saturday) until 1am. Detailed written permission will be required from parents or legal guardians. Open to students from the ages of 14 - 17 We expect 90% of students to be non native English speakers Estimated students on the immersion: 200+ Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 15 students
After class activities		Enjoy a schedule of supervised social & cultural activities during the week on & off campus. Our program also includes a half day excursion (week days) and a full day excursion (Saturdays) every week.
