"SUMMER SPANISH IMMERSION VACATION"

YOUR LANGUAGE VACATION INCLUDES SUPERVISED ACTIVITIES

Once lessons are over for the day, teenagers will enjoy a schedule of activities and excursions together.

Below is only a "sample schedule" as each our schedule rotates but will give you an idea of what to expect in Tarragona.


WHAT TO EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY IN TARRAGONA
 8.00am - 9.30am: Day starts, enjoy breakfast with other students and prepare for classes.

9.30am - 12.30am: Language classes begin, with a small break after the first 2 lessons

12.30am - 2.00pm: Classes finish for the day and you will enjoy lunch together. For students attending the Intensive course, they will go back into class for 2 additional lessons

2.00pm - 4.00pm: Organized activities together with our staff supervising

4.00pm - 7.00pm: Free time visit the beach, check e-mail, call home, go for a walk, shopping etc

7.00pm - 11.00pm: Enjoy dinner before heading out for a supervised evening activity

11.00pm: Return to your lodging and head to bed!

Tarragona Information
Tarragona is a small city, and its center is very easy to negotiate. Most of the city sights and services are within walking distance of the town center. There is also a very efficient and cheap bus and train service.

Most shops are open from 10-13.30, reopening later at 17-20.30, Monday to Saturday. The larger shopping centres, such as 'Parc Central', Tarragona's largest shopping center, is open until 22h from Monday to Saturday. 'Parc Central' is 15 minutes walk from the school, and, as well as a wide range of shops and services, has a multi-screen cinema and many cafés and restaurants.

On Sunday mornings you can visit the second-hand antique market next to the Cathedral. On the first Saturday of every month, there is an open-air Art Exhibition in the town's main square. On Sunday mornings you may be able to take a free boat trip around the harbour and along the coast, from the main fishing port.

Temperatures can get high in July, so make sure you bring a high factor sun protection cream for any excursions to the beach!
